
AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Jacob TAKPEY was born in 1964 at Agbozume-Klikor in the volta region of Ghana.The parents, Joseph Kwashie AHO TAKPEY and Cecilia Mansa ANAGLI traders, later on left the volta region and settled in the Sekondi capital of the western region.Jacob TAKPEY in his earlier days attended the Assorku Essaman Roman Catholic primary and middle schools and furthered his education in Sekondi Secondary School and obtained the G.C.E "O" level. He entered Dormaa Secondary School for his sixth form education and came out with G.C.E "A" level in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General paper. After his national service as a clerk in the forestry departement, he flew to Paris in France and then to Poitiers, a famous university city.
He offered a french course for foreigners in the University of Poitiers and came out with "Certificat Pratique de Langue Française "1er " degré which permits English-speaking students to undergo undergraduate studies in France. Unfortunately he turned down a pharmacy course a year later due to the french strict resident administrative procedures. He left for Bordeaux and later on followed a trainning course of receptionist and worked as a receptionist for eight years principally in the accor group. He applied for study leave and entered the "Institut Universitaire de Technologie " of University Bordeaux IV. He studied and graduated in Logistics and Management. He became a naturalised french citizen in December 1997. He is working currently as a logistician.

Location: Ghana is situated in West Africa, just above the Equator. The Greenwich Meridian passes through its main industrial city, Tema. It lies between latitude four degrees 45 minutes and 11 degrees 11 minutes North and extends from Longitude one degree 14 minutes east to three degrees 17 minutes west. Ghana shares common boundaries with Togo in the east, Burkina Faso in the north and Cote d'Ivoire in the West. The Atlantic Ocean is in the south. Capital: Accra. Languages: English (official). The local languages are Twi, Fanti, Ewe, Ga and Dagbani. Ethnic groups: Twi and Fanti-speaking Akans (45.3 per cent), Mole-Dagombas (15.2 per cent), Ewes (11.7 per cent) others (27 per cent).
